Residential House Manager (Autism) for an Adult CILA in Rogers Park, IL
PACTT Learning Center is seeking a Residential House Manager for two adult CILAs serving individuals with autism. The houses are located in Rogers Park, Chicago, IL, and are within half a mile of one another.
At PACTT, Residential House Managers provide day-to-day operational oversight for the services provided to participants. The House Manager serves as supervisor and mentor to assigned DSP staff, engaging in ongoing efforts to develop employee skills and competencies. Activities include providing direct services, managing medications, managing monthly finances, and ensuring both high quality programming and a safe home environment at all times.
Status: Full-Time – Hourly
Rate: $25.00/hr
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Weekend availability

Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor degree in a related field
· Experience working with people with autism/developmental disabilities
· At least one year supervisory experience
· Intermediate computer proficiencies
· Valid drivers’ license and proof of insurance
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise staff by creating work schedules, processing employee payroll, providing new staff with On the Job Training and demonstrate leadership & problem solving abilities to promote well-being of residents.
· Operate participant households in accordance with house budget procedures and manage assigned work-load effectively by meeting all monthly deadlines.
· Ensure that programming is being delivered on a daily basis and that staff are assisting participants with their activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing etc.
· Plan recreation and enrichment activities for participants to engage in within their community and are consistently active in learning new skills.
· Advocate for participant rights by ensuring all services indicated in the Implementation Strategies are being implemented on a daily basis.
· Oversee all participant medical needs: address concerns in a timely manner, make travel arrangements as needed, confirm incident reports are completed and routed according to procedure.
· Ensure that program staff maintain daily documentation and recordkeeping on participant progress on goals established in their service plans.
· Manage monthly attendance records.
