Pinnacle staffing is looking for Maintenance Supervisor for one of our clients located in Phoenix AZ.
Under general supervision, the employee is responsible for administrative and performance of maintenance activities and facilities upkeep to ensure safety and adherence to all pertinent city and state codes. General duties within the department include administration of company policies; employee training; quality and continuous improvement of departmental operations and processes; establishing departmental objectives and plans in accordance with company goals; and implementation of maintenance plans. Also requires ownership of a robust Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently with proper back-up plans through cross-functional collaboration.
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6AM -3:30PM
Salary rate: 80K DOE
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe, timely, effective and efficient operation of the plant machinery, manufacturing equipment facilities, and associated infrastructure
- Oversee continuous improvement efforts required to expand maintenance capabilities; identifying opportunities to improve the processes and for analyzing maintenance operations and making appropriate recommendations to improve efficiency
- Coordinates maintenance schedules with other departments and supervisors so that maintenance schedules and production schedules are not in conflict.
- Responsible for safe handling, compliance, record keeping, and permit requirements for all city, state, and federal laws regarding storage, transportation and recycling of hazardous materials.
- Responsible for the maintenance of sprinkler and fire extinguisher systems.
- Keeps all electrical equipment, such as wiring, motors, switches, and electrical mechanisms in good repair.
- Ensures that Preventive Maintenance is appropriately scheduled and executed on time
- Supports and executes continuous improvement on 5S standards
- Eliminate down time, seeking ways to improve efficiency
- Effectively develops and applies preventive and corrective measures
- Identifies potential areas for improvement
- Ability to react to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to motivate and direct subordinates and is approachable/easy to work with
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to safely and proficiently utilize tools and equipment
- Proficient experience in general maintenance and repairs.
- Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the Company
- Manual dexterity to safely and proficiently operate a large variety of tooling, including specific tools designed for specific pieces of equipment; electric, power and hand tools as required.
- Ability to safely and proficiently operate company office equipment such as copiers, and personal computers.
- Ability to react to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Competency with Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint programs. AutoCAD experience is a plus
- Interfaces effectively with superiors, peers and subordinates. Ability to clearly communicate up and down the organization in both written and verbal communication forms.
