Position Information
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of High School Recruitment and Evaluation, the Admissions Specialist is available to students, families, the campus community, and the general public to interpret, enforce and explain University policies and regulations. The incumbent is responsible for admission eligibility evaluation of first-year and transfer applicants based on self-reported information, official transcripts, and other pertinent documents. The Admissions Specialist will independently represent Undergraduate Admissions in Northern California by providing oversight at various programs and events, participating in community college and high school visits, fairs, consortium travel, and conferences. This position requires extensive travel in the Bay Area and Northern California during the peak recruitment seasons in fall and spring. The incumbent will be required to produce visit summaries, data reports, and program evaluations assessing the results and effectiveness of the events, visits, and initiatives they are responsible for. Candidate will be based regionally.
The full salary range for the Admissions Specialist is $59,000 - $103,400 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $59,000 - $64,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
