Part Time Speech and Language Pathologist
Star Academy, a non-profit, non-public school, located in San Rafael, CA, serving students with learning differences in grades 3 through post-secondary, has an opening for a Part-Time, Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2024/2025 school year. The Speech and Language Pathologist will be working with students in grades 3-12, with learning differences.
Star Academy’s mission is to help Special Education students with complex learning differences experience academic success through a multisensory approach.

Candidates must have the following qualifications:
1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
2. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)
3. Valid California Speech-Language Hearing license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs- California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Dispensers Board
4. Current Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential or Clear Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
5. Experience in a school-based setting
