Asheville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is looking for a Surgical Assistant for our Asheville, NC office. Responsibilities include:
· Direct patient care provided in a safe and compassionate manner
· Assisting the doctor in consultation, including preparing patients for visits, reviewing health history, obtaining vital signs, obtaining radiographs, entering and presenting treatment plans, and taking intraoral scans and photographs.
· Utilization of WinOMS software and patient electronic medical records.
· Room turnover and instrument processing.
· Assisting in all phases of major and minor oral & maxillofacial procedures.
· Assisting in ordering of supplies needed for clinical procedures
· Participation in training and staff meetings

Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Oral and Maxillofacial surgery experience preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles required
- CPR certification required
- NC dental x-ray certification required
- Dental Anesthesia Assistant Certification (DAANCE) preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
