Job Summary:
Cranberry Township Emergency Medical Services (CTEMS) is seeking candidates for an entry level Marketing Coordinator position. This position will operate under the direction of the CTEMS Executive Director and Board of Directors and will support the day-to-day marketing needs of the Cranberry Township EMS. Duties including helping to plan, develop, launch, and evaluate a variety of promotional and marketing programs to increase awareness of CTEMS brand and its business objectives.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will handle various projects and communicate with internal and external audiences to support the CTEMS mission. This includes managing marketing projects of varying levels of complexity and sophistication, including print, digital and social programs. Other duties may be required as assigned. Some travel throughout Cranberry Township may be required for this position.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the creation of a strategic marketing communications plan.
· Manage all marketing programs of varying levels of complexity and sophistication, collaborating with internal and external resources such as staff, board members, agency/vendor partners and township personnel.
· Create engaging and compelling content for CTEMS publications, brochures, web site and social channels.
· Ensures that all marketing programs have effective KPIs for success evaluation.
· Supports Executive Director as necessary on annual subscription and donor appeals.
· Manage and optimize CTEMS social media platforms/channels to engage target audiences increase followers and drive traffic to web site.
· Develop and manage the email database of opted-in township residents.
· Maintains fundamental media relations relationships and support as necessary.
· Update and optimize existing web pages.
· Ensure that content and design is understandable, accessible, and consistent with CTEMS brand standards.
· Assist in the creation of marketing presentations as necessary.
· Prepare and monitor project requirements, timelines, sitemaps, wireframes, and other relevant documentation for assigned projects.
· Provides occasional support to the Outreach Coordinator in administrating activities related to community events.
· Maintain current industry knowledge and trends.
Educational/Knowledge Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree required, with a focus in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or business, preferred.
· Experience in website management/essential HTML/content management and analytics programs preferred.
· Basic understanding of social, SEO and web site UX best practices.
· Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines.
· 0-2 years of professional or internship experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, public relations, or related field.
· The candidate must be a self-starter with strong oral and written communications skills, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and team skills.
· Experience with customer service and account management.
