Catering Coordinator
Hours: Monday- Friday with availability for Saturday fill in per nature of the hospitality business
POSITION SUMMARY: To assist the Catering/Conference Service Manager in administrative aspects.
TASKS AND COMPETENCIES:
1. To support the Sales Managers by taking qualified inquiries, and passing on to appropriate manager
2. To assist with all wedding/corporate/social servicing details.
3. Responsible for keeping the Catering Bible in order.
4. Responsible for weekly Banquet Event Order pack. Checking BEO’s and distributing along with weekly dailies. Informing managers what is still outstanding in the pack.
5. Making sure Front Desk is always stocked with all menupackages.
6. Send out definite contracts once executed by Catering Managers.
7. Call appropriate bakeries to re-conform cake type and give them guaranteed numbers for weddings, etc. and ordering chocolates for weddings.
8. Create tent signs, signs and mini menus when needed for all in-house.
9. Coverage of the main phone line and sales direct line.
10. Assists in filling out forms for bookings, such as A/R request form, phone access forms, credit card payment forms, etc.
14. Send out wedding information kits, sales kits and menus for all corporate and social inquiries.
15. To discuss immediately with the Director of Catering any and all problems, concerns, opportunities, ideas or other job related items in order to maintain open communication and consistent job specifications.
