Job Description:
Position Overview: The Business Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company. This individual will be responsible for financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, and serving as the administrative business point of contact for customers and vendors. TKG is a small organization, and the successful applicant will need to be able to work independently and assume a broad range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare pro forma financial statements.
- Forecast revenues, expenses and cash positions.
- Manage cash positions.
- Liaison with outside accountants and bookkeepers.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable:
- Manage and oversee accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Invoicing:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients.
- Track and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date invoicing records.
- Vendor Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for business vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors.
- Sales & Marketing Support:
- Track sales prospects and maintain the sales pipeline.
- Send out contracts, marketing materials, and other business documents.
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Information Technology & Compliance Reporting:
- Prepare security and compliance questionnaires from clients and vendors.
- Maintain Security, Compliance, Policy and Procedures documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minium of 3 years of full-time work experience as Business Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Accounting Software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Ability to work independently with excellent multitasking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Financial Industry (Bank, Broker/Dealer, Wealth Management) is a plus.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards is helpful.
Education:
- A college degree is required, preferably in a business-related area.
