As the Domestic Violence Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

Complete an intake form with each client that includes an assessment of needed supports and services, available resources, and a service plan for implementation

Develop safety plans for clients.

Provide advocacy for victims applying for other services to live violence and abuse free.

Accompany clients to court, to the police station, to DSS and to doctors as deemed necessary.

Assist with finding safe housing for clients, and supportive counseling.

Maintain statistics, complete statistical reports, complete functional timesheets, and any other required reporting in a timely manner

Participate in trainings, attend appropriate community meetings and events, and assist in community education and technical assistance as requested.
Domestic Violence Advocate Minimum Salary: $17.00
Domestic Violence Advocate Maximum Salary: $19.00
Domestic Violence Advocate Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-4pm

Associates Degree in a related field

1-3 years of experience working with diverse populations
