We’ll depend on your eagle eyes to visually inspect parts during the shift, ensure those parts are well-made and packed correctly while also doing some small assembly. Because we know you have much more to bring to the table than just inspecting, assembling, and packing parts, you’ll maintain a daily production log to ensure that we as a facility are producing the correct amounts for our customers as well as ensuring that our overall quality stay above excellence. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Removes molded product from molding machine.
2. Inspects parts for abnormalities.
3. Package product according to standard work instructions.
4. Label all boxes per the applicable work instructions.
5. Understands and recognizes potential defects and problems with parts. Advise the supervisor or quality tech of any non-conforming issue related to your specific task.
6. Must be at their workstation, ready to work, at the appropriate starting times.
7. Maintain cleanliness at the work station.
8. Prepares all required productions reports accurately and legible.
9. Maintains an appropriate level of conventionality and conformance in regard to the corporate culture. Relates well with others, including, as appropriate, peers, supervisors, subordinates, customers and suppliers while maintaining good attendance. Assumes appropriate role(s)when working in a team environment. Responds appropriately to unexpected and/or continuing situations, which develop in the work environment.
10. Follow all rules and regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook and Safety Instructions.
11. Performs all duties in accordance to Transnav standards and ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of operations in the plant and quality systems.
12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to understand, read, and writes English accurately in order to follow verbal and written instructions and to prepare all necessary paperwork.
- Basic math abilities
- Ability to lift objects over 25 pounds
- Must be able to work in labor-intensive environment requiring full mobility and adequate strength
- Stand for long periods of time
- Available to work weekends and any necessary overtime
