Annual Salary: $76,044.80 - $102,107.20
Clinical Laboratory Scientists II are considered the Journey-level classification to the CLS series and require the ability to recognize a range of reactions including deviation from the norm.

Modified Benefit Option (MBO): This benefit option provides full-time employees in

Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four-hour facility; some shifts include weekends and holidays. Applicants must indicate availability for day, swing, night, rotating, weekends, and holidays. Shift differentials are provided.
Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical, and verification of employment history and education.
Work Environment: Incumbents are routinely exposed to dangerous chemicals and infectious materials.
Probationary Period: Clinical Laboratory Scientists I are eligible for promotion to Clinical Laboratory Scientist II upon meeting the minimum qualifications and receipt of a satisfactory work performance evaluation. Incumbents must promote within twelve (12) months or be terminated.
Vaccination Requirement: Per the December 24, 2021 updated CA State Public Health Officer Order, all workers who provide services or work in facilities described in subdivision (a) of the order, including clinics and doctor offices, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, CDPH Public Health Officer Orders updated on February 22, 2022 requires all workers in health care settings currently eligible for boosters, who provide services or work in the impacted facilities must be “fully vaccinated and boosted” for COVID-19 by March 1, 2022.
