The Requirements Specialist Engineer will play a crucial role in providing support to the Government for monitoring and tracking projects affecting the AFIN, advising the 688th Cyberspace Wing staff, and project team leads. This position involves guiding, tracking, and documenting project activities to ensure seamless collaboration, operational support, and conformance to standards while delivering Cyber Capability Requirements Planning products within specified deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal and external project teams to provide project collaboration and on-boarding support, monitoring and tracking projects affecting the AFIN.
- Advise the 688th Cyberspace Wing staff and project team leads on guiding, tracking, and documenting project activities, including collaboration, operational support, engineering initiatives, and integration of new tools and processes.
- Engage and collaborate with requirement initiators, process owners, and mission area leads to prepare, process, and coordinate Cyber Needs Forms (CNF), AF Forms 1067, and unfunded requirements (UFRs) to meet deadlines and align with enterprise standardization strategy.
- Advise, coordinate, track, and maintain weapons systems requirements impacting wing operations.
- Evaluate requirements impacting wing operations, review HHQ governance, and maintain copies of requirements impacting 688 CW weapons systems.
- Maintain a knowledge base of weapons systems requirements to enable strategic thinking and efficient requirements processing.
- Develop, revise, and coordinate requirements in support of assigned missions, ensuring adequacy, feasibility, acceptability, completeness, and compliance with 688 CW processes.
- Participate in conferences, meetings, and symposiums as required, adhering to certification requirements and delivering required reports and materials.
- 5 or more years’ experience in USAF Defensive Cyberspace Operations
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher. Minimum includes one active certification(s): ("CCNA" or "CySA+" or "GICSP" or "GSEC" or "Security+ CE" or "CND" or "SSCP")

- USAF Cyberspace Weapon System Operator Qualification
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
