Work Hours:
Sunday-Thursday 2:30pm-9:00pm
Friday-Saturday 2:30pm-8pm OR 5:00pm-11:00pm (flex)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
- Cook food items according to the menu and recipes provided
- Assist in preparing meals by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits
- Help to maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with any dietary requirements
Skills:
- Proficient in using kitchen tools such as knives, graters, slicers, etc.
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food handling guidelines and standards in the food industry
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other kitchen staff members
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
