Responsibilities:
As the Pastry Chef at Kyu Las Vegas inside the Fountain Bleau, you will collaborate closely with our corporate executive chef and corporate pastry chef to craft seasonal menus, innovate recipes, and lead our pastry kitchen.

Lead and manage the pastry section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth coordination with the executive and sous chefs.

Prepare ingredients and utilize baking equipment with expert proficiency.

Create a variety of pastries, baked goods, and confections following established recipes.

Innovate and develop new recipes to elevate our seasonal menus.

Skillfully decorate pastries and desserts for exquisite presentation.

Collaborate with clients to customize desserts and pastries for special occasions.

Monitor baking ingredient inventory and place orders within budgetary guidelines.

Uphold strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards within the pastry section.

Recruit, supervise, and train pastry team members as needed.
Qualifications:

Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a related field.

Minimum of four years of experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a similar role within the food industry.

Profound knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.

Creative flair and artistic skills in cake decoration and dessert presentation.

Thorough understanding of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
