The Law School Recruiting Specialist serves as an ambassador for Notre Dame Law School and for the University by promoting the mission of the School. This new position in Law School Admissions will prioritize the recruitment of a diverse applicant pool and enrolled class. The Recruiting Specialist reports to the Director of Admissions and assists with the strategy and implementation of a successful recruitment and communication plan to enroll a qualified and diverse class.
Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with the Admissions team on events and initiatives to recruit students from communities that are underrepresented in legal education and the legal profession.

Extensive traveling to undergraduate schools, LSAC Forums, and diversity recruitment events from September through November to cultivate relationships with prospective students.

Corresponding with prospective students, applicants, and others seeking information on admissions procedures.

Serving as one of the primary points of contact for potential law students with sensitivity to the Law School's goal of attracting a diverse student body with high academic qualifications.

Assisting with the development of a strategic communications plan to enroll a diverse and highly qualified class.

Assisting the Director with drafting and sending mass communications via email and other media and optimizing CRM functions by utilizing modern recruitment and marketing strategies.

Reviewing and evaluating applications for the J.D. degree program.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree
-
Experience working to support communities historically underrepresented in legal education and the legal profession
-
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
-
Strong computer skills, including experience with CRMs
-
Willing to travel extensively (mainly in the fall months)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
J.D. degree preferred
-
Previous admissions experience preferred
-
Experience working with LSACs Unite preferred
