POSITION: Schedule III Secretary - Guidance
LOCATION: Nashua High School North
WORK YEAR: School Year (Monday - Friday)
STARTING: 08/26//2024
SALARY: $19.77 Per Hour, Benefits per Union Contract
QUALIFICATIONS: High school education. A minimum of 2 years previous experience with secretarial office functions. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and software database programs. Must have proven organization skills and strong reading comprehension. A candidate must also possess experience with document filing protocols, strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs general secretarial tasks, composes and types letters and reports, answers, assists and takes messages, routes incoming mail, type budget forms, purchase orders, student recommendations and other forms of correspondence for the department. Maintains permanent records and processes requests of former students, arranges appointments for Parent/Teacher Conferences, parent/counselor appointments for new students, maintains and files all correspondence of incoming students. Coordinates college fair, maintains scholarship material and reproduces forms/application as needed in the department. Processes incoming and outgoing student transcript requests. Provides support to the Guidance Department.
