- Lead and manage a team of 4 in Production Planning.
- Ensure SQF/ISO requirements compliance.
- Manage and analyze available data from demand planning, inventory reports, and other resources to ensure goals are met.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operational Teams to gather inputs to build consensus supply plan through the SIOP process.
- Work closely with inventory teams to understand and resolve known supply constraints or excess inventory risks.
- Understand forecast assumptions across the business unit, including base business trends and the accuracy of demand plans for new product launches.
- Manage and coordinate project activities within the Supply Chain/Operations team, driving cross-functional teamwork and data-based decision-making to develop and implement process improvements.
- Analyze and identify risks associated with inventory and material. • Generate and maintain long-term supply plans based on opportunities in the pipeline.
- Monitor the use of appropriate KPIs to measure and improve the effectiveness of the elements of the planning organization.
- Track inventory levels of finished goods, components, WIP, and raw material to ensure within planned levels.
- Monitor excess and obsolete inventory and drive root cause problem-solving and action planning.
- Collaborate with warehousing management to understand warehouse capacity with finished goods.
- Collaborate with customer service and sales to improve forecast accuracy.
- Define inventory policies to allow forecasts to be accurately translated into manufacturing production schedules in support of the defined run strategies and business objectives.
- Support the review and development of finite planning tools and implementation of new ERP planning systems.
