Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our inventory levels, ensuring that our products are accurately stocked and shipped to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The Inventory Coordinator will work closely with the production planning team to identify and address any issues related to inventory management, and will be responsible for implementing process improvements to enhance our warehouse operations. Duties:
- Analyze inventory levels and identify areas for improvement to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Source and purchase inventory items as needed to ensure that our warehouse remains fully stocked.
- Work closely with the production planning team to ensure that inventory levels align with production schedules.
- Utilize AS400 systems to manage and track inventory, and to ensure that all inventory transactions are accurately recorded.
- Implement process improvements to enhance our warehouse operations and reduce costs.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, product descriptions, and pricing information.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure that all inventory items are shipped and received on time and in good condition.
- Use Tableau to analyze and visualize inventory data, and to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure that inventory levels align with online sales and to manage inventory for online orders.
- Ensure that all inventory items are properly stocked and organized in the warehouse, and that the warehouse is kept clean and secure.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory management system, including inventory tracking, reporting, and analytics.
- Identify and address any issues related to inventory management, and work with other teams to resolve any problems that arise.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning, process improvement, and warehouse management.
- Experience with AS400 systems and Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in e-commerce inventory management is an asset.
- Knowledge of warehouse management principles and best practices is an asset.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.90 per hour
