COLD FOOD SUPERVISOR

Role Purpose Statement: The Cold Food Supervisor at LSG Sky Chefs is responsible for overseeing the preparation, assembly, and presentation of all cold food items. This role ensures that all cold food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The supervisor will lead a team of cold food preparers (team size 12-15), ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Location: Located near SEATAC airport
Hours: Need flexibility as our operations run daily over multiple shifts.
Main Accountabilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of cold food preparers to deliver top-quality products.
- Ensure all cold food items meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies to keep production running smoothly.
- Train and mentor team members to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and uphold food safety regulations.
- Resolve any issues promptly to keep the kitchen running like clockwork.
- Keep detailed records and production reports.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (culinary or food service management degree is a plus).
- At least 3 years of food service experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cold food preparation and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Pay: $64,216.00 - $79,796.00 per year
