Commercial Fleet Sales Consultant Needed

Position Overview
The Commerical Sales Associate has the opportunity to identify, consult and sell vehicles to fleet and commercial account customers. This role will work within the business community and local government agencies to build relationships and drive vehicle purchase programs in a business-to-business environment. The goal is to create an exceptional vehicle-buying experience to build customer loyalty and referral business to Beach Ford. Business to business sales experience is preferred for this position. Outside sales experience needed.
Ideal candidates must have a strong desire to succeed and not be afraid to put in long hours to include evenings. (We are closed on Sunday). This is a full-time position with benefits. Our Commercial Sales staff thrive in BTB transactional relationships, communication, and contracts.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Developing prospects for commercial/fleet business
- Cold-calling prospects to build relationships and determine vehicle needs for their business
- Following-up as needed on prospects to develop commercial/fleet accounts
- Using a consultative selling process to match the best vehicle to the Customer needs
- Creating a great vehicle delivery experience for the Customer
- Following up with commercial sales customers to ensure satisfaction and continued loyalty
- Setting and achieving targeted sales goals
- Gaining superior product knowledge to effectively help Customers
- Transition Customers to the Service Department to support their ownership experience
- Providing an exceptional Customer experience to drive loyalty

What are the requirements for this job?
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Prior business-to-business sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
- Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience and desire to work with technology
Once interview process is complete, candidates will be REQUIRED to pass a criminal background check, pass pre-employment drug test and have a clean driving record within the last five (5) years. Training class will take place the first (1) week of employment.
