Principal Duties:
· Verify all transactions have the proper back up, are properly coded and approved by the appropriate department manager.
· Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors, and resolve purchase orders, invoices, or payment discrepancies.
· Resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues with vendors in a timely manner.
· Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger.
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances or discrepancies.
· Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Required skills and qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 3-5 years of accounts payable experience
Preferred skills and qualifications:
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Working knowledge of basic accounting practices
· Advanced computer skills in MS Office, specifically Excel
