THE JOB:
As an A/V Technician, you will operate and manage audio-visual equipment, ensuring its successful operation and performing necessary maintenance. Your responsibilities will include addressing technical issues, maintaining equipment inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing excellent customer service to deliver high-quality audio-visual experiences.
THE STARTING RATE: $36.64/hr
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Set up and dismantle audio, video, lighting, and internet equipment for clients, employees, and guests throughout the property.
Assist clients, employees, and guests in using A/V equipment.
Operate A/V equipment for client meetings, employee events, and guest functions.
Provide excellent customer service by determining needs and offering solutions to clients, employees, and guests.
Maintain rental equipment, ensuring proper care during transportation, handling, and storage of heavy equipment and tools.
Operate a scissor lift to transport and set up/dismantle equipment across the property.
Assist with the music and DJ systems on the casino floor and around the property.
Calculate electrical draw for A/V equipment.
Work with high amperage/voltage electricity.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Prior experience working in an A/V role.
Knowledge of Dante and BSS audio systems.
Flexible in working varied shifts/hours to meet on-call requirements.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with various audio, video, and lighting equipment.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Working in, A/V, production, theatrical, or related fields)
