Business Operations Analyst
The Business Operations Analyst primarily serves as the liaison between business operations and information technology in an effort to develop recommendations and changes, while also performing testing and follow through to enhance the organization’s overall efficiencies. Serve as the lead on all business operations projects to include planning, requirements gathering, development, management, analysis, recommendations, and execution. The Business Operations Analyst will be expected to exercise independent judgement, coordinate multiple and diverse projects and respond to quickly changing conditions and complete tasks on a short turnaround timeframe.
Essential Job Functions

Work directly with operations team, IT and outside vendors to define implementation requirements and timelines for projects.

Ensure operational readiness for all implementations, technology, and process changes.

Work with training department and department heads in rolling out new projects to the staff.

Identify opportunities to improve operations by analyzing data, listening to customer calls, and observing workflows.

Document processes and process flows.

Assist with the development and enhancement of reporting metrics across all departments.

Develop business cases, requirements, and other related tasks in testing new technological implementations and work directly with IT team in resolving any issues.

Determine comprehensive business requirements across all departments.

Document “as-is” processes and information flows, and develop “to-be” process flows and process change diagrams to identify needed organizational and workflow changes.

Provide input, document requirements and support delivery of projects impacting operations across the organization.

Provide feedback and updates to operations team as needed.

Self-motivated and able to grasp new concepts quickly.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

High degree of initiative, mature judgement, and discretion.

Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
Highly Preferred

3 or more years direct auto insurance experience working within all levels of policy and claims.

Demonstrated and in-depth knowledge of application insurance coverage, state laws, regulations, policies, and practices.
Schedule: Full-Time; Mondays – Fridays, 8:30am-5pm. This position reports onsite to our office in Princeton, NJ.
