Position: Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor role is responsible for the guest and staff experience within our restaurant. They own both the kitchen and guest facing operations, driving sales, food quality & presentation, meeting daily metrics, and making decisions that impact the business in a positive way that supports business growth and guest happiness.
Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements: Below is a more detailed list of duties for the Shift Supervisor position. All team members are expected to be in the store in a clean uniform and on time & clocked in prior to starting their assigned duties. Although there are role specific duties, all team members will still assist the team, if need be, with other duties not listed here.
- Availability must include weekends
- Preferred open availability
- Two years experience as a Line Cook required
- 1 year experience in a customer facing role required
- Ability to demonstrate knife skills (chopping, slicing, dicing, etc)
- Knowledge of using basic kitchen equipment
- Prepping all recipes, proteins, and other items to brand standard
- Memorizing all brand builds
- Reading kitchen receipts and building to standard
- Demonstrating sound judgment pertaining to food waste and spoilage
- Maintaining store cleanliness & organization
- Daily cleaning and restocking tasks
- Adhering to all health department codes and policies
- Lifting heavy items from time to time & ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Working under pressure and multi-tasking
- Working with a sense of urgency and ensuring that food is prepared within our expected ticket times
- Maintaining open communication regarding wait times with guest facing team
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Packaging takeout orders correctly and quickly
- Running food to tables when necessary
- Taking guest orders
- Able to place orders for food, store supplies, and other items
- Cash Handling basics and reporting
- Mastery of all stations
- Ability to read reports and help make adjustments to meet business metrics
- Create a culture of positivity and excellence
- Daily coaching and training in a positive and constructive manner
- Support the business with tasks necessary to support daily operations and ensure the guest has an incredible experience
- Responsible for the guest experience, which includes all guest escalations, and the reputation management scores during the shift
- Adhere and enforce all company policies and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
