Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of effective treatment plans to enhance the lives of those we serve.
Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess individuals' behavioral needs
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement behavioral therapy interventions to address specific goals and objectives
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Provide patient care with empathy, professionalism, and respect
- Work closely with individuals with autism and their families to provide education and support
Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder preferred
- Strong skills in patient assessment and developing individualized treatment plans
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Proficient in data collection and analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with people with autism
