TITLE: Administrative Professional
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Firm Administrator
LOCATION: Irvine - On-site
PAY: $25/HR - $35/HR DOE
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Professionals perform a variety of clerical, administrative, and receptionist tasks and present a professional image of the firm to callers and visitors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Answer telephones using a multi-line telephone system.

Receive and transmit telephone and fax messages accurately and promptly using the telephone, telephone message pads, fax machine, and photocopy machine.

Greet and escort clients and visitors as soon as they arrive in the office in a professional and friendly manner.

File library materials, work papers, and correspondence.

Type correspondence, reports, and financial statements accurately and timely using a computer word processing system.

Process client tax returns using tax preparation software.

Maintain cash records, accounts receivable, and accounts payable ledgers.

Proofread reports and correspondence.

Maintain office supplies inventory.
OTHER FUNCTIONS

Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by partners or professional staff.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Stationed at the front desk approximately 95% of working time.

Occasional overtime hours required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.

Ability to type 60 words per minute.

Familiarity and experience with general office equipment.
