**Job Overview:**
Join our team as a Sous Chef at The Rangeley Inn & Tavern. We are looking for a talented individual to assist in leading our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
**Duties:**
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and food production
- Contribute to menu planning and ensure high-quality food preparation
- Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to maintaining the high standards of fine dining at The Rangeley Tavern
**Skills:**
- Previous experience in bartending, kitchen management, shift management, and fine dining establishments
- Proficiency in inventory control, food production, food preparation, and menu planning
- Strong team management and leadership skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively
