The Customer Inventory Specialist is responsible for the handling of customer inventory and for auditing and maintaining inventory levels required to meet distribution demands. This role will update the customer regarding shipping, tracking, RMAs and receipt of returned products. The specialist will also assist with prepping hardware for provisioning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain count accuracy of customer inventory (digital and physical).

Manage incoming and outgoing customer inventory and update asset records in ServiceNow, including but not limited to the following: asset state, assigned to, asset tag, asset serial number, etc.

Package, ship, track and update customers including but not limited to items shipped, tracking number, ship to address, courier information, ETAs, etc.

Monitor inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and process sales task to replenish inventory.

Process RMA’s in timely manner and keep track of replaced serial numbers.

Maintain and organize the inventory room

Provide inventory reports as needed.

Audit customer inventory periodically and report any discrepancy to supervisor

Test hardware connection before shipping

Prep hardware for provisioning this includes but not limited to unboxing the hardware, connect to power, make available online, basic setup, install Automate, etc.

Sanitize and clean returned hardware so that it is presentable for use; this includes removing any residue from former user
