About the Role:
The Quality Technician role at the Cambridge location provides support to the Quality team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
· Assuming responsibility for the in-process quality of product and packaging
· Sampling and reviewing analytical data of product and release batches for processing/packaging
· Monitoring downstream packaging for accuracy and quality
· Monitoring sanitation practices of facility through Pre-Operational and During Operational Checklists
· Approving line for USDA production in lieu of USDA inspector evaluations
· Assisting with monthly sanitation audit of facility
· Monitoring CCP (Critical Control Points) as well as other documentation for accuracy
· Monitoring packaging integrity throughout destruction teardown and package evaluation
· Notifying appropriate parties of any deviations to products, packaging or paperwork
· Assisting in evaluation of product quality when non-conformances arise
· All other duties assigned by a supervisor
Important Details: Employees work 12-hour shifts (5am to 5pm or 5pm to 5am), earning full time hours while only working an average of 14 days per month. Rotating weekends required: employees scheduled to have every other long weekend (Friday through Sunday) off.
About You:

· Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
