MK POS is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in Credit Card Merchant Processing Services and Point of Sale solutions for the hospitality and retail industries. Your primary responsibility will be to expand our company's business by selling our Merchant Processing and Point of Sale software and hardware. This is a highly competitive field, and we are looking for a goal-oriented salesperson with a background in credit card merchant sales and/or the restaurant industry. Strong presentation skills and excellent customer service are essential.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the hospitality or merchant processing industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present product demonstrations to decision-makers and business owners
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Effective planning, time management, and prioritization skills
- Self-starter with the ability to set and achieve quota goals
- Strong understanding of general restaurant business operations
- Passion for technology and its potential to transform businesses
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by identifying and targeting sales opportunities
- Set sales goals and develop strategies to achieve them
- Research prospects and generate leads
- Stay knowledgeable about current hospitality trends and adapt to emerging trends
- Handle customer questions, inquiries, and complaints
- Develop and maintain close relationships with your clients
- Meet monthly sales targets
- Conduct successful in-person product demonstrations
- Manage the sales pipeline to achieve or exceed monthly goals
- Participate in sales team meetings
- This is a remote position, but travel within your assigned territory is required
