200 day position
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bookkeeping and payroll desired. Prefer a minimum of two years of experience in bookkeeping.
- Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using MUNIS software preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in basic office procedures and small office equipment.
- Professional organizational and leadership skills.
- Must be able to perform routine physical activities which may include lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- Communicates via phone, computer, and in person with faculty, staff, administrators, parents, community members, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Performs all bookkeeping procedures related to the school activity accounts.
- Follows all procedurs as outlined in the LCSS Accounting Handbook.
- Prepares and processes school purchase orders, requisitions and other documents pertaining to financial transactions.
- Handles the distribution of relative documents and information at the site level.
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Answers telephone calls and assist students and parents as needed.
- Prepares correspondence as needed.
- Asssits with students sign in and out records.
- Monitors and maintains the SEMS, TimeForce systems and PowerSchool Systems.
- Performs usual office routines and practices associated with a busy, productive office environment.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or Superintendent of Schools.
