What You'll Do
Veterinary Receptionists are responsible for ensuring that clients and patients receive excellent service and care through teamwork and friendly interactions.

As a Veterinary Receptionist you will:
- Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to emails
- Check patients in for appointments and boarding
- Check clients out and perform financial transactions
- This is an active job and requires one to move throughout the hospital, delivering messages, checking patients in/out and walking them on a leash or carrying them in a carrier
What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)
- 1+ years of previous experience as a receptionist is required, with a focus on Veterinary Receptionist
- Experience in the veterinary industry is preferred
- Must have an outstanding phone personality
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure at a quick pace
- Attention to detail is a must
- Good organization and time management is necessary
- Ability to work around substances such as animal saliva, blood, urine, fecal material, vomit, etc.
- Comfortable and able to work with all breeds, temperaments, and sizes of dogs and cats
