Primary Responsibilities:
· Partner with the Executive Director managing the daily operations of the school including marketing, student enrollment, and financials.
· Maintain accurate financial accounting of the School operation.
· Assist in planning annual budget and manage the operational budget as approved.
· Collaborate with the Executive Director to hire, train, and supervise a team of passionate, committed teachers.
· Maintain personal records and ensure confidentiality.
· Maintain effective communication between School staff and parents.
· Conducts parent and child interviews before School enrollment.
· Works with Executive Director providing coaching, counseling and conducting timely performance reviews for School staff.
· Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Two to four years professional experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
· One year of prior supervisory experience, including classroom leadership responsibility or professional administration experience in a child care, early childhood environment.
· Knowledge and ability to lead staff in implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum.
· Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Computer literacy required.
Education:
BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree.
Physical Requirements:
· Frequently lifts or moves weight as in lifting, carrying, and holding children and infants of 10 to 60 pounds.
