Responsibilities
- Responsible for profitability for new and used vehicle sales. in the dealership
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts for all departments
- Hire, mentor and monitor the performance of all sales consultants
- Maintain superior customer service (CSI) through dealership culture
- Review critical metrics daily for the dealership and make necessary adjustments to increase production
- Assist in developing an advertising and marketing plan
- Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process
- Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network
- Provide training and support to all staff
- Assist F&I Manager, sales consultants in closing deals and attracting more customers
Qualifications
- Consistent track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong F&I background is necessity
- Prior Sales Management experience in automotive management required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of inventory control
- Strong computer and phone skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Ambitious, goal oriented, and able to work within a dynamic environment
- Valid driver’s license
