Job Title: Part-Time Marketing and Sales Associate
Location: Greater Boston / Remote
Reports To: Founder/Director
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
About the Position:
The Marketing and Sales Manager will work directly with the founder and director of 3 small start up companies that separately specialize in athletics, sports apparel as well as property services. With growth and development this position can develop into a full time position.
The Marketing and Sales Manager will work closely with the founder and director to develop and execute marketing strategies, drive sales, and foster customer relationships. This role requires a proactive, self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, etc.).
- Create engaging content for social media, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Manage social media accounts, including posting updates, engaging with followers, and tracking performance metrics.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Assist in organizing and promoting events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Sales:
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
- Identify and qualify leads through research, networking, and outreach.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and follow-up meetings with potential clients.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and detailed information.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Proven experience in marketing, sales, or a related role is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software.
- Passion for startups and a keen interest in [industry/sector].
- Experience in Google Ads, Google Analytics and other platforms.
