Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Duties:
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
- Monitor network performance and ensure security measures are in place
- Collaborate with network administrators on network optimization
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of Windows servers
- Utilize SCCM for software deployment and updates
- Respond to help desk tickets promptly and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain computer management systems
- Support firewall configurations and maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, and network administration
- Familiarity with remedy ticketing system
- Strong knowledge of computer management practices
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues effectively
- Experience in supporting mobile devices
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach
