Primary Purpose and Job functions:
As a Christmas Land Sales/Personalization associate at DeWayne’s, you will play a pivotal role in fulfilling customers’ personalization needs. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the appearance and organization of the personalization section. You will also maintain and help out in other Christmas Land rooms as needed. You must have good penmanship and enjoy working with people.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers with a helpful and energetic attitude.
- Assist customers with their personalization needs.
- Maintain customizable product inventory and supplies.
- Effectively maintain inventory supply levels and communicate with the buyer when established minimums are reached.
- Actively stock, replenish, and display products and supplies.
- Protect the security of inventory and other assets according to company guidelines.
- Set up displays for optimal attractiveness to drive sales.
- Ensure the stockrooms are organized, clean, and well-maintained.
- Proactively educate himself/ herself and provide expert knowledge to customers.
- Must be organized and willing to learn.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned by management.
- Must be willing to help out in other departments as needed.

Knowledge and Skill:
- Retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to read and write English flawlessly.
- Must have good penmanship and a steady hand for personalizing product.
- Ability to accurately listen in dynamic environments and execute customer requests.
- Emphasize a positive and unique work environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as the business requires.
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well on a team with others.
- Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.

Applicants invited for an in person interview will be asked to complete a personalization lettering test and will be evaluated based on the samples done during this process.
