Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries and leads in a timely manner and per business guidelines
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors
- Host venue tours and book events
- Assists clients through the planning process of food and beverage selections, timelines, event details and logistics along with room layout
- Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining and guests
- Work with management and other heads of departments at all times and assist in carrying out special requirements and duties necessary in adding to the guests' general comfort and well being
- Creating reliable financial reports and collecting payments on time
- Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise
- Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event
- Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
