About the role
We are looking for a driven and proactive Project Manager to join us as a Contractor for the next six months. As a Project Manager, you will manage the scope of work, resources, budget, and schedule. You will monitor projects from initiation through delivery and interface with internal team members. Primary Responsibilities

Have Full Responsibility and Accountability for the Project deliverables and outcomes

Organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints

Define project roles and responsibilities and lead the project planning activities - direct the creation, approval, and enforce ongoing change control of the project plan

Perform detailed project tracking, recognize when problems occur, bring the right people together to solve them with the proper sense of urgency

Manage to project priorities and perform risk management

Drive ownership of decisions

Collaborate and build relationships across the organization

Develop a detailed project plan, budget, and task management to achieve task order objectives

Provide status on progress toward objectives to management and team members

Manage deliverables to/from and oversee communication with suppliers
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
-
Highly proficient with MS Project and Project Online Server
-
Excellent understanding of the business case and cost-benefit analysis
-
Strong knowledge of product life management and toll gate methodology

Experience with New Product Introduction/Development
-
Experience creating project charters, business plans, developing a WBS, identifying stakeholders and creating the Project Plan
-
Familiar with RACI matrix and understand how to perform stakeholder analysis and management.

Exceptional oral communication and formal presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships

Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team with initiative, creativity, and innovation

Excellent program/project management skills and experience managing subcontractors and/or suppliers
-
High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and budget
-
Exceptional management and leadership skills and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

Location

Applicants who are willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington are preferred. Remote workers will be considered. Relocation is not provided for this role.
Hourly Rate: $52-67 an hour depending on experience and level of education
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
