About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving our business growth by generating new leads and initiating relationships with potential clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospects, conduct cold calls, and secure appointments for our outside sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive outbound cold calls to a targeted list of potential clients with the aim of generating interest and setting up appointments
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target organizations to ensure effective communication and engagement
- Articulate the value proposition of our IT consulting services to prospects, highlighting how our solutions can address their specific business challenges and objectives
- Qualify leads and gather pertinent information to assess the prospect's needs and potential fit with our services
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads for further engagement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and progress in the CRM system
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate our competitive advantages
- Continuously refine and improve outreach strategies based on performance metrics and feedback
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional outbound sales experience in IT sector
- Track record of success cold calling for appointment setting into mid-market and small enterprise prospects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with decision-makers
- Strong phone presence and comfortable making cold calls
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and convey them in a clear, concise manner
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational and time management skill

Pay: $72,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year
