Essential Functions: *Answers questions about the school. Provides directions, policies and procedures and all other information as needed. Welcomes on-site visitors; determines nature of their visit; announces visitors. Answers the telephone; screens and routes calls as appropriate.
- Receives, sorts, and distributes all mail and deliveries. *Collects and enters student attendance, tardiness, dismissal, and etc. data; maintains faculty and staff data as well. *Composes routine documents including memos, letters, and reports.
Performs all clerical duties including maintaining files, faxing, photocopying, collating, etc. Maintains schedules, makes appointments, and sets up meetings. *Identifies and analyzes the needs for office/school supplies and equipment. Assists with ordering supplies for the entire year.
Prepares and maintains purchase orders and files. Follows-up on back-ordered supplies. *Serves as the individual school's payroll representative for attendance. *Assists in the coordination the MHS Graduation and related events.
- Creates and maintains new student list; prepares report. Types, organizes, and maintains information to distribute to parents. Assists in the organization events for incoming students. Communicates with students' former schools as necessary.
- Welcomes new students entering the school system to MHS. Schedules parent meetings with teachers and administrators as needed. *Compiles and prepares a variety of reports. *Collects data and paperwork.
- Relays requests and information from parents to students during the day. *Troubleshoots office machine problems. Requests repairs for equipment. *May assist students when the Nurse is unavailable.
- Regular attendance and punctuality at the workplace is required. *Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates. *Greets parents, faculty, and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.*Oversees the security doors. Provides guest passes for visitors.
- Can multi-task a busy school office.
