BrandPal is seeking a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and social media management experience to join our team as a Community Manager. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing and engaging with the community, and building and maintaining close relationships with new/active members. You will be the face of our brand and drive brand awareness and engagement online.
Committment: At least 20 hours a week (This position offers fixed hours, ensuring a stable work schedule, while still providing flexibility through mutually agreed-upon arrangements made in advance). The contract duration is at least 3 months. Current and graduated students are welcome to apply; For potential full-time employment, the position will convert to a standard full-time non-exempt role
Rate:$16 ~ $25/Hour + Performance Bonus (Determined based on regions and seniority)Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a communication and marketing strategy aligned with our brand identity, goals, and mission to increase awareness, participation, and engagement across diverse online groups and communities
- Monitor, moderate, and engage in discussions within our online communities, providing support and fostering a positive environment
- Organize and coordinate online events, webinars, and other community-building activities
- Work closely with our cross-functional teams to launch campaigns and initiatives that promote offerings
- Analyze social media metrics and community feedback to inform content strategies and improve engagement
- Implement automation tools and AI bots to enhance moderation efforts and user engagement
- Facilitate regular updates and feature additions to keep the server fresh, engaging, and in line with current tech trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Preferred but not required, Junior or Senior college students are welcome to apply)
- Passion for social media platforms and community engagement, with a preference for candidates who have successfully owned personal Instagram/TikTok accounts with 1,000 or more active followers
- Experience with creator marketing preferred
- Strong understanding of community engagement strategies and best practices. Track record of building online communities from the ground up and rapidly scaling social media following (preferably 1k+ community, Knowledge of discord community platform preferred)
- Experience using data to make marketing strategy and demonstrated understanding of tracking and metrics. Understanding of marketing automation as it relates to communities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across different channels and platforms with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and drive initiatives forward
- Experience in event management, preferably in content creation, creator engagement field
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
