Job Summary:
The Enterprise Applications Developer is a member of the Enterprise Applications team and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust websites and applications. This position will assist in website content development, applications development, workflow automation and maintenance. Works closely with Application team members for developing, reviewing, and approving code, technical designs, and deployments in different environments.

This position reports directly to the Enterprise Applications Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites from layout to function.
Responsible for regularly updating and maintaining websites to meet security and performance standards
Responsible for the development of delivered business and technical requirements into coded web-based applications and workflows.
Ensures alignment of websites and content management systems with FNU Marketing needs and FNU brand standards.
Collaborates with IT team, FNU Marketing, project owners, Frontier community members & vendors to deliver online tools through application services integration and coded feature development
Coordinates and implements the changes to development, test, and production environments
Provides application support, troubleshooting and resolution for developed applications
Ensure that website and applications are operating effectively and efficiently
Develop and implement plans to ensure that websites and applications remain up-to-date and secure
Communicate with application team members and manager regarding application-related issues
Ensure the documentation of code, processes, and procedures for future reference and maintain proper documentation standards
Provide training and support to FNU community members as new features are rolled out for website and application
Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of websites and applications.
Provide service to the University through activities such as involvement in FNU shared governance (e.g. committees, workgroups), FNU sponsored activities (e.g. charity drives,
community-outreach activities), and/or service to the profession (e.g. conference presentations, professional organization committee-work).
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience in Agile / Scrum development methodologies
Experience in managing large-scale website development, application development and support projects
Proficiency in Front-end technologies & Framework such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, React, Angular, Vue.js
Proficiency in Back-end development languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, Java, Powershell
Proficiency in using version control systems such as GIT for collaborative development
Familiarity with databases such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL & Microsoft Dataverse
Familiarity with Microsoft Powerplatform: Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate
Familiarity with Azure App service & Azure DevOps
Understanding of techniques to optimize website speed and performance
Experience in implementing security measures to protect against common web vulnerabilities
Experience in working with APIs to integrate Applications, data and functionalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making.
Strong desire to learn new skills, applications, and take on new challenges and willingness to improve capabilities
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Proven experience as an Enterprise Application Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects
Strong technical knowledge of enterprise applications, including development methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and architecture
