Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring all food and beverages are properly displayed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout the shift
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as hot and cold beverages, pastries, cereals, and fruits
- Monitor food levels and replenish as necessary to ensure a consistent supply for guests
- Assist guests with any special dietary needs or requests
- Clear tables and clean up after guests have finished their meals
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and cleaning the breakfast area
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Ability to operate a cash register for handling guest payments
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Attention to detail to ensure food is properly prepared and presented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
