Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Survey Project Manager, this position will be responsible for:
¨ Preparing and drafting various survey products including Corner Records, Records of Surveys, ALTA’s, Easement Plats and Subdivision Maps
¨ Researching title and mapping information
¨ Using a variety of common software to prepare reports and deliverables, i.e. Word, Excel, Bluebeam
¨ Coordinating and scheduling with contractors for construction staking projects
¨ Preparing calculations and staking sheets for use by the field crews.
¨ Performing quality control checks on staking projects and producing as-staked plots for contractors
¨ Briefing field crews of daily tasks and providing support as their link between the field and the office
¨ Assisting in the maintenance of survey equipment by coordinating service and repairs
Required Qualifications
¨ Preferred, but not required: LSIT or on path to obtain licensure
¨ Ability to work with multiple disciplines and personalities
¨ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
¨ Experience with construction staking processes and calculations
¨ Knowledge of procedures and practices of boundary surveys and analysis
¨ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D with drafting experience
¨ A valid CA drivers license and the ability to be insured by company’s policy
Preferred Qualifications
¨ Experience with a mix of both field and office exposure
¨ Experience with AutoCAD
¨ Experience with Trimble Business Center
¨ Knowledge of Public Agency processing requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
