Job Title: Receptionist
Pay Rate: $20 an hour
Shift: 1st Shift- 8 am to 5 pm ( Monday to Friday)
Location: Cindy Lane, Carpinteria, CA, 93013
Job Description
- Answer and direct incoming calls, taking and delivering messages when necessary.
- Greets and directs visitors.
- Will be scanning documents into system ( Computer efficient )
- Will need to memorize buildings and who is where (7 buildings)
- Lifting on a regular basis (20lbs-30lbs)
- 30%min walking throughout the day
- Processes all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, including distribution proper postage, etc.
- Prepares customs documents for inter-company shipments.
- Scans and updates work copies of orders to K: drive.
- Maintains Capacity Planning spreadsheet and uploads to K: drive.
- Separates invoices and forwards copies as required.
- Clerical duties such as typing correspondence and documents, filing work orders, purchase orders and Certificates of Analysis.
- Maintains and updates branch calendar.
- Orders office supplies.
- Reviews Visitor Log Book at the end of every business day to ensure all visitors have signed out.
- Supports production projects by labelling bags, envelopes or cartons at desk when time allows.
- Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
- Performs other related tasks that his/her supervisor deems necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
