Counter Sales Representative
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products or services
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and goals
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track sales and customer data
- Drive parts to customers and other store locations as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities (additional languages such as Spanish or French are a plus)
- Previous experience in automotive service or repair industry preferred
- Proficient in using a POS system for sales transactions
- Strong market knowledge and understanding of automotive products and services
- Sales management skills, including upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Ability to maintain an organized work environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
