Pay: Starting 120,000 (negotiable pending experience)

- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program or physician assistant program required
- License to practice as an NP or PA in California required with Board certification from ANNC, ANAP, WHNP-BC or NCCPA
- Prescriptive authority required
- Previous experience in the field of reproductive medicine is preferred. 2+ years experience working in Women’s Health with OB/Gyn patients is required.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations related to reproductive tissue donors preferred
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of reproductive tissue donor screening, including managing Policy and Procedures and FDA inspections (will train the right candidate)
- Provide patient consultation and implement treatment plans related to infertility treatments
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Evaluate, counsel and manage patients with reproductive endocrine infertility disorders, such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, endometriosis, thyroid dysfunction, etc.
- Evaluate and manage patients for ovulation induction, embryo transfer and fertility preservation
- Perform routine and monitoring ultrasounds, gyn exams, post op exams, hysterosalpingograms, sonohysterograms, hysteroscopy and intra-uterine insemination
- Provide ultrasounds for early pregnancy evaluation
- Interpret and manage laboratory tests related to infertility, pregnancy, general health and infectious disease
- Liaison between clinical staff and physicians to ensure quality medical care
- Supervise clinical coordinators

SUMMARY
The NP or PA will be instrumental in the coordination and facilitation of high quality care for our patients. The NP/PA will partner with the physicians for examinations, diagnosis, treatment, education, counseling, and serve as a medical resource for other licensed and non-licensed CARE Fertility staff. The NP or PA will manage/oversee all aspects of reproductive donor screening, including writing policies and procedures and manage FDA inspections.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and manage lab results
- Daily 3rd party chart audits and MD chart review
- FDA screening (history and physical, questionnaire and lab work screening/review), compliance, and initial determination sign off
- Perform baseline ultrasounds and follow up monitoring ultrasounds for IUI and IVF
- Manage patient treatment plans for IUI patients
- Perform a variety of procedures such as: HSG (hysterosalpingograms), saline sonograms, IUI (intrauterine insemination) and endometrial biopsies
- Included in after hours on-call rotation
- Assist with pre and post op assessments of patients
- Use electronic medical records
- Completes forms and requisitions in electronic medical record
- Documents all required information in electronic medical record
- Collaborates with analytics personnel for client reporting, certification and inspections.
- Participates in committees and quality assurance programs.
- Actively participates in training and supervision of support staff, including IVF coordinators.
