Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Server Lead to:
- Required to train, and demonstrate proper procedures and protocol to employees.
- Understand and practice safe food handling procedures.
- Provide Server coverage if needed. Required to lift 50lb.
- Promotes best practices and ways to increase student participation. May get feedback from Account managers or servers during non-service time and communicate feedback.
- Maintain Proper communication channels with Account Managers regarding the status of the servers at each school site and quality and accurate number of meals, fruits, snacks, and milk being delivered.
- Ensures that Servers handle and receive student ID cards. Operates the Point of Sale (POS) in a manner that complies with school contracts and government compliance regulations.
- Manage time and attendance.
- Approve and correct bi-weekly payroll.
- Maintain communication with Server on any company updates or initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Must have access to a reliable car.
- 1-2 years in a fast-paced service environment in a shift lead capacity, cashier in food service or equivalent.
- Basic math skills addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Basic computer skills: email, excel spreadsheets.
- Follow directions such as timelines, procedures, and supervisor expectations.
- Customer Service & Professionalism.
- Food handler certification.
- CA Driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a background check, as required.
