Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Manager to join our team. The Automotive Service Manager will oversee all aspects of our service department operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and high-quality workmanship. This individual will lead a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to deliver outstanding service and maximize departmental performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and customer interactions.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- Monitor service quality and implement measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee parts and inventory management to ensure sufficient stock levels and efficient use of resources.
- Analyze departmental performance metrics, set targets for revenue and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve them.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive service management or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes, preferably with experience as a technician or service advisor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions to address them.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team, foster a positive work environment, and drive performance.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications used in automotive service operations, such as service management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
